Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using the FPAI plugin ("Software") or accessing fpai.orora.co.jp ("Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software or Website.

"FPAI" refers to the creator and distributor of the FPAI — First-Party AI Analytics plugin. "You" refers to the individual or entity using the Software.

License

Free plan

The FPAI plugin's free version is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPLv2+). You are free to use, study, modify, and distribute the free version of the plugin in accordance with the GPL.

Pro plan

The Pro version's plugin code is — like the free version, and like WordPress plugins generally — licensed under the GPLv2 or later. What you purchase via Lemon Squeezy is not the code itself but the commercial services attached to it: your license key, access to automatic updates from our update server, and priority support. A copy of the GPL and third-party license notices are included in the Pro download.

The following are conditions of those services. Breaching them ends your access to updates and support; nothing in these terms restricts the rights the GPL grants you in the code itself:

  • License keys are personal to the purchaser and may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or published
  • The update server may be accessed only with a valid license key, for the number of sites permitted by your plan
  • Priority support is provided to the license holder only

Acceptable use

You agree to use FPAI only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, and others applicable in your jurisdiction).

You must not use FPAI to:

  • Track visitors on sites you do not own or have authorization to operate
  • Collect personally identifiable information in a manner not disclosed to your site's visitors
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Software
  • Access the update server other than with a valid license key

As the operator of a site using FPAI, you are solely responsible for your compliance with privacy laws applicable to the data you collect from your own visitors.

Payment and billing

Pro licenses are purchased through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

Prices are displayed on the checkout page and may change at any time. Changes do not affect existing active licenses.

Refund policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro license purchases. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within 14 days of purchase, contact info@orora.co.jp with your order number to request a full refund. Refunds are processed via Lemon Squeezy within 5–10 business days.

Refunds are not available after 14 days, or for licenses where there is evidence of policy violation.

Support

Free plan users have access to community support via the WordPress.org plugin forum.

Pro plan users have access to priority email support at info@orora.co.jp. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Support covers installation, configuration, and bug reports. It does not include custom development or modifications.

Updates

Free plan users receive updates via the WordPress.org plugin repository.

Pro plan users receive updates for the duration of an active license. If your license expires, the plugin continues to function with the last downloaded version, but you will not receive new updates until the license is renewed. Advanced Pro event tracking pauses when the license lapses; basic tracking continues at the free level, and your existing analytics data remains viewable and exportable.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. FPAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

You are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your WordPress database. FPAI is not liable for any data loss resulting from use of the Software.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FPAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR WEBSITE, EVEN IF FPAI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

FPAI's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Intellectual property

The FPAI name, logo, and website design are the intellectual property of ORORA Inc. The plugin code — free and Pro alike — is licensed under GPLv2+; what is sold with Pro is the license key, update access, and support described above.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use FPAI's trademarks, trade names, or logos without prior written permission.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the Pro plugin. Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond the 14-day refund window.

You may terminate your use of the Software at any time by deactivating and deleting the plugin from your WordPress installation. However, deactivating or deleting the plugin does not stop your subscription billing. To stop being charged, you must cancel separately on the Lemon Squeezy side (the "Manage your subscription" link in your purchase email).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software or Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
